Li Auto has officially rolled out its OTA 8.0 update, marking a significant leap in intelligent driving technology. Released on September 10th, this update introduces the world's first Vision-Language-Action (VLA) driver large model, alongside 54 new features and 26 experience optimizations.

Enhanced Driving Experience

The VLA driver large model stands out as the centerpiece of this update. It refines the driving experience across six key dimensions:

  • More accurate navigation routing
  • Humanized speed settings
  • Smoother acceleration, deceleration, and turning
  • Improved safety at blind spot intersections
  • Deeper understanding of user preferences
  • Enhanced traffic efficiency

Users can now execute complex route planning with simple voice commands, streamlining the driving process.

Safety Upgrades

Li Auto has bolstered safety with its enhanced Automatic Emergency Steering (AES) feature. This system autonomously avoids pedestrians, children, and other road hazards while adapting to various scenarios.

Vehicles equipped with the Li AD Pro 4.0 system now support memory parking, enabling cars to learn and adapt to parking environments independently.

Entertainment and Convenience

The update also introduces innovative entertainment features:

  • Microphone-free K singing: Enjoy high-definition singing without traditional microphone hassles.
  • Alipay parking fee integration: Pay parking fees effortlessly via voice command.
