Yingmu Tech Unveils AI Glasses, Expands to 2K Stores

Yingmu Technology Launches Next-Gen AI Glasses Amid Major Expansion

Chengdu, China – Yingmu Technology, one of China's leading AR companies dubbed among the "Four Little Dragons," has unveiled its new generation of AI-powered smart glasses at the Chengdu Intelligent Glasses Industry Ecosystem Development Conference. The company simultaneously announced a nationwide retail expansion targeting over 2,000 experience stores through partnerships with eyewear brands LOHO and Asia Glasses.

Product Launch and Retail Strategy

The first pop-up stores will debut in December across four cities: Chengdu, Shenzhen, Wuxi, and Luoyang. CEO Yang Longsheng emphasized that the product represents more than just wearable tech – it's "an entry point to a future lifestyle" designed for seamless integration into daily routines.

"We want AI to feel natural," Yang stated. "These glasses aren't just devices; they're bridges connecting users to enhanced digital experiences through familiar eyewear form factors."

Market Context and Industry Challenges

Conference attendees highlighted both opportunities and hurdles:

  • Tencent App Store representatives noted China's smart glasses market is growing rapidly, projecting ¥2 billion+ in-app spending by 2029
  • Current pain points include content scarcity and slow software updates
  • Ant Group framed AI glasses as "the next generation of service entry points" but acknowledged ecosystem development gaps

Ecosystem Development

Yingmu introduced its "Yingmu World" platform to address these challenges:

  1. Technical collaboration with Ant Group using the gPass framework
  2. Developer ecosystem partnership with Tencent App Store
  3. Plans for global AI+AR open ecosystem construction

The company recently relocated its headquarters to Chengdu after securing ¥150 million+ in Series B+ funding earlier this year.

Key Points:

  • Yingmu launches advanced AI glasses emphasizing natural wearability
  • Major retail expansion planned via 2K+ experience stores nationwide
  • New "Yingmu World" ecosystem platform addresses industry pain points
  • Strategic partnerships formed with Ant Group and Tencent
  • Part of China's "AR Four Little Dragons" alongside XREAL, Rokid, and TCL
