Gongniu and Alibaba Cloud Partner to Advance AI-Powered Smart Home Solutions
Gongniu Group has deepened its collaboration with Alibaba Cloud, marking a significant step in the integration of artificial intelligence into smart home solutions. The partnership will focus on leveraging Alibaba Cloud's Qwen large model and AI computing power to create innovative end-side intelligent products. This initiative not only strengthens Gongniu's position in the smart home market but also supports its overseas expansion strategy through Alibaba Cloud's global infrastructure.

The roots of this collaboration trace back to 2017, when Gongniu first partnered with Alibaba Cloud. Today, Gongniu's IoT system operates entirely on Alibaba Cloud's platform, enabling users to control smart lighting and new energy charging piles remotely via the MosHome app. Additionally, Gongniu's e-commerce systems and core business operations, including smart lighting, are built on Alibaba Cloud, providing a robust foundation for large model integration.
In recent years, Gongniu has actively embraced AI advancements. Its full-house healthy smart lighting brand, Mu Guang, now incorporates the MOS GPT model, fine-tuned from Qwen3. This technology allows Mu Guang to intelligently adjust lighting modes—such as reading or movie-watching—based on household scenarios and environmental conditions, delivering a seamless user experience.
Zhou Peifeng, head of Gongniu AI Research Institute, expressed optimism about the partnership: "Qwen is among the world's leading large model families, and Alibaba Cloud is a top-tier global cloud provider. Together, we aim to accelerate end-side AI development and usher in a new era of whole-house intelligence."
This alliance is poised to elevate Gongniu's smart home offerings while accelerating its global market reach through AI-driven innovations.
