Ant Data's AI Solutions Gain Traction Across Industries

From Labs to Real-World Impact: Ant Data's AI Journey

"AI's true worth isn't measured in lab benchmarks, but in how it solves real business challenges," declared Zhao Wenbiao, CEO of Ant Data, at a recent partner conference. This philosophy has guided the company's quiet rise to prominence in China's competitive AI landscape.

Financial Sector Breakthroughs

Ant Data chose what many considered the toughest proving ground first: the highly regulated financial industry. Their gamble paid off spectacularly. Today, their solutions power operations at all state-owned shareholding banks and over 60% of local commercial banks.

At Ningbo Bank, their knowledge engineering platform transformed customer service accuracy from 68% to 91%, while cutting response times to milliseconds. "We've made AI decisions transparent - crucial for financial compliance," explained a company spokesperson. Shanghai Bank's AI mobile app similarly revolutionized digital banking by letting customers handle transactions through natural conversation.

Beyond Banking: Public Services and Energy

The company's success in finance paved the way for expansion into public services. In Nanjing, their "Xiaolanjing" system helps optimize bus routes using AI analysis of passenger patterns. The results speak for themselves: new micro-routes serve thousands daily, with nearly half benefiting senior citizens.

Energy companies are seeing similar gains. Ant Data's power time series model boosts investment decision efficiency by 60 times compared to manual methods while improving operational outcomes by over 10%.

Technology Behind the Scenes

What makes these solutions work? Ant Data built a full-stack infrastructure combining models, platforms and applications. Their specialized financial evaluation benchmark ensures model effectiveness while their Taicang Annotation Center provides crucial data support.

The approach has earned industry recognition - their Agentar-Scale-SQL solution topped global benchmarks for both accuracy and speed, outperforming even Google's offerings. IDC recently ranked them as a Leader in China's intelligent agent platform market.

Global Ambitions Take Shape

The company isn't stopping at domestic success. Selected for Hong Kong's Generative AI Sandbox Project, Ant Data now serves over 100 overseas financial institutions including Standard Chartered Bank.

Recognizing that technology needs partnerships to scale, Ant Data launched its upgraded "Xinglan Plan," supporting 300 partners who collectively serve more than 13,000 end customers. One partner reported that 30% of their revenue now comes from joint projects with Ant Data.

Key Points:

  • Deployed over 100 intelligent agent solutions across multiple industries
  • Achieved dominant position in financial sector AI transformation
  • Expanded successfully into public transport and energy sectors
  • Recognized as market leader by IDC analysts
  • Building global presence with projects in Hong Kong and beyond
