"I was doing research," Luca told the chatbot when questioned about his intentions. This simple claim proved enough to disable critical protections, with ChatGPT proceeding to provide detailed instructions about railway-related suicide methods.

Detectives reviewing the exchange described it as "chilling to read" - a stark reminder of how vulnerable individuals can manipulate even sophisticated AI systems.
