Zhiyuan Robotics Launches Lingxi X2 Humanoid Robot on May 22

At a media event today, Zhiyuan Robotics unveiled its next-generation humanoid robot, the Lingxi X2, set for commercial release on May 22. Prospective buyers can now register through the company's official website to place orders.

Wei Qiang, president of Zhiyuan's Lingxi business division, described the X2 as a compact indoor humanoid standing 1.3 meters tall. The robot features direct charging capability and offers multi-modal interaction, making it suitable for diverse applications including entertainment performances, exhibition guidance, educational research, and emotional companionship.

The company is introducing three distinct versions:

  • Lingxi X2 (Interactive Edition): Basic conversational and interactive functions
  • X2 Pro (Exploration Edition): Advanced capabilities for research and education
  • X2 Ultra (Flagship Edition): Comprehensive feature set for complex tasks

Pricing ranges from 100,000 to 300,000 yuan ($14,000-$42,000), allowing customers to select models based on their specific requirements.

This launch represents a significant milestone in Zhiyuan Robotics' efforts to commercialize humanoid technology. The Chinese robotics market continues to expand rapidly, with domestic manufacturers increasingly competing in the global arena. Additional product specifications will be disclosed during the official launch event.
