Robot Rentals Soar During Spring Festival as Demand Jumps 80%

Robot Rental Boom: Spring Festival Demand Surges

The robot rental market is heating up faster than Lunar New Year reunion dinners. Jingtianzhu, China's leading robotic service platform, reports explosive growth during this year's holiday season.

Record-Breaking Numbers

As of February 12, the platform had already logged over 1,000 confirmed bookings for the holiday period. Projections suggest total orders will smash through the 5,000 mark - an eye-watering figure that represents an 80% jump in gross merchandise value compared to last quarter.

"We're seeing demand accelerate at a pace we never anticipated," said a company spokesperson. "What began as niche tech adoption has clearly crossed into mainstream territory."

The Growth Trajectory

The surge didn't happen overnight. Orders started climbing steadily about two weeks before the holidays, showing a healthy 30% increase. Then came the real fireworks - bookings skyrocketed by 47% in the final pre-holiday week alone.

Industry analysts expect this momentum to continue throughout the festive period with growth rates potentially exceeding 60%. Even post-holiday projections remain bullish at around 50%.

Who's Renting Robots?

The customer profile tells an interesting story:

  • 30% first-time users: Clear evidence that robotic services are moving beyond early adopters
  • Standardized packages gaining traction: The "999 Yuan Universal Robot Experience" accounts for about 15% of orders
  • Premium services growing: Complex applications have pushed average transaction prices up by approximately 15%

Nationwide Expansion

With over 3,000 robots currently available across more than 100 Chinese cities, Jingtianzhu isn't resting on its laurels. The company recently unveiled ambitious expansion plans:

  • City Partner Strategy: Launched February 13 to broaden regional coverage
  • Shanghai Event: Major partner conference scheduled for March to accelerate scaling efforts

The platform's success mirrors broader trends in China's service robotics sector, where practical applications increasingly complement traditional manufacturing uses.

Key Points:

  • 5K+ orders projected for Spring Festival period
  • 80% GMV growth quarter-over-quarter
  • 30% new users signal market maturation
  • 15% price increase driven by complex applications
  • 100+ cities served nationwide
