The Bigger Picture: Microsoft's AI Infrastructure Race
Fairwater isn't operating in isolation. It joins over 100 existing Microsoft data centers worldwide, with similar facilities planned across 70 regions globally. Industry analysts see this as part of Microsoft's aggressive play to cement itself as the backbone of enterprise AI development.
