Kingsoft Office Unveils WPS AI 3.0 Lingxi as Smart Office Assistant

Kingsoft Office Launches WPS AI 3.0 Lingxi as Native Smart Assistant

At the 2025 Kingsoft Office AI Productivity Forum, the company officially unveiled WPS AI 3.0 Lingxi, marking a significant evolution in office AI capabilities—from functional tool to intelligent assistant.

Native Integration Enables Seamless Workflow

The natively designed Office AI agent allows users to perform document creation, presentation generation, and voice assistant functions through natural language conversations without switching applications. The interface now features a split-screen layout: the traditional Office suite on the left and WPS Lingxi's chat window on the right. Users describe their needs in natural language, and the AI instantly modifies documents in real time.

Three Key Competitive Advantages

  1. Multi-turn conversation support: Enables iterative refinement of requests.
  2. Controllable modification process: Users guide each step of AI-generated changes.
  3. Format preservation: Maintains original document styling during edits.

For presentations, Lingxi allows outline adjustments during chats and supports template fine-tuning at multiple levels—from entire decks to single slides—achieving true "think it, get it" functionality.

Expanded Ecosystem with WPS Knowledge Base

The simultaneous launch of the WPS Knowledge Base enriches the intelligence ecosystem with integrated search and voice capabilities. "Office is entering an era where everyone has an AI assistant," stated Tian Ran, Assistant President of Kingsoft Office.

Key Points:

  • First natively integrated office AI agent in WPS suite
  • Split-screen interface enables real-time collaborative editing
  • Surpasses competitors in conversational depth and format retention
  • New knowledge base expands intelligent office solutions
