Tech giants Google and Reliance Jio unveiled a strategic partnership today that will bring advanced artificial intelligence tools to millions of Indian consumers at no cost. The collaboration offers eligible Jio subscribers an 18-month free subscription to Google's premium Gemini Pro AI plan, valued at approximately ₹35,100 (~$420).

Partnership Details
The initiative includes access to:
- Gemini 2.5 Pro, Google's most advanced AI model with million-token context window
- Creative tools powered by Nano Banana and Veo 3.1 models for image/video generation
- Expanded usage rights for NotebookLM research assistant (5x increase)
- 2TB of cloud storage across Google Photos, Gmail, Drive, and WhatsApp backups
Eligibility Requirements
The program initially targets young users aged 18-25 who subscribe to Jio's unlimited 5G plans priced at ₹349 or higher (both prepaid and postpaid). Participants must maintain active 5G service to continue receiving benefits. Reliance Jio plans to expand the offering nationwide after the initial rollout.
