ChatGPT Unveils Personalized Year-End Reports – Here's What You Get
ChatGPT's Answer to Spotify Wrapped Is Here
Move over, music recaps – artificial intelligence now has its own year-in-review feature. OpenAI just launched "Your Year with ChatGPT," turning twelve months of conversations into colorful personality profiles and poetic snapshots.

Your AI Yearbook Arrives
This isn't just another data dump. The feature analyzes chat history (when permitted) to create:
- Interaction maps showing your question patterns and peak usage times
- Whimsical badges like "Creative Debugger" or "Code Alchemist" based on your chat style
- Custom AI poetry paired with DALL·E artwork reflecting your year's key themes
"We wanted to celebrate how people actually use ChatGPT," explains OpenAI product lead Sarah Chen. "Whether you're troubleshooting code or brainstorming novel plots, these summaries capture that unique relationship."
Privacy Takes Center Stage
The opt-in feature currently supports:
- Individual users (free and paid) in English-speaking countries
- Accounts with sufficient conversation history
The system won't automatically populate reports – users must enable memory permissions and manually trigger generation via the app homepage or voice command.
What About Adult Content?
With OpenAI planning controlled NSFW features next year, annual reviews might soon reflect more mature conversations. This raises fresh questions about content boundaries in personalized AI experiences.
From Tool to Digital Companion
The launch signals ChatGPT's evolution beyond utility. As Chen notes: "When we see users framing these reports alongside family photos, that's when we know AI has become part of people's stories."
Key Points:
- Personalized: Generates unique summaries based on your chat history
- Visual: Combines data viz with AI-generated poetry and artwork
- Optional: Requires explicit user permissions to access chat data
- Regional: Currently limited to English-speaking markets
