On September 24, the company's 20,000th general-purpose robot, the Yanzheng A3 Ultra, rolled off the production line at Hengqin Chimelong Spacecraft Park and was handed over to Chimelong Group on the spot. The timing is striking: Zhiyuan crossed the 10,000-unit mark back in March. That means it took just six months to double output—a clear sign that production capacity is shifting into high gear.

But the bigger news? The same day marked the debut of the world's first large-scale embodied intelligence theme park, a joint effort between Zhiyuan and Chimelong. Over 300 robots from Zhiyuan's full lineup are now working regular shifts in the park, handling everything from visitor interaction and tour guidance to performances and science education. This isn't a one-off demo. It's routine operation.

For Zhiyuan, hitting 20,000 mass-produced units means its robots have officially moved beyond R&D verification and single-point showcases. They're now in the realm of mass production, large-scale delivery, and daily operation. And this delivery pushes general-purpose robots out of structured environments like factories and commercial performances into the messy, unpredictable world of cultural tourism—where crowds constantly change, routes aren't fixed, and surprises are the norm.

So what makes the Yanzheng A3 Ultra so special? Quite a bit, actually. It packs a 360° all-around perception system, a UWB and RTK fusion positioning system, and a platform with 700 TOPS of computing power. Standing 174 centimeters tall, its body is made from a composite of magnesium alloy and carbon fiber nylon—lightweight yet durable. The real showstopper, though, is its 20-degree-of-freedom omnidirectional tactile dexterous hand. In plain English: it can not only deliver and transport items but also organize and restock. That's a hand that actually works.

Looking at the timeline, Zhiyuan's production base has been steadily ramping up. In 2023, there were only 6 prototype machines. By August 2024, mass production kicked off. January 2025 saw the 1,000th unit, and by year's end, 5,000. March 2026 crossed 10,000, June hit 15,000, and now September 24 marks 20,000. That's a jump roughly every quarter—a pace that reflects supply chain maturity, calibration improvements, and scenario adaptation all coming together.

But making robots truly "live" in a park—not just be displayed—takes more than hardware. Zhiyuan and Chimelong also unveiled the "Embodied Intelligence Cultural Tourism Joint Research Institute" on the same day. The institute will focus on scene adaptation for humanoid robots, algorithm iteration, content creation, and commercial validation. When 20,000 robots leave the factory and 300 start interacting with real people daily in high-traffic areas, the gap between "able to work" and "able to coexist" shrinks dramatically.
