Zhiyuan Robotics Aims for Mass Production of Humanoid Robots by 2026
Zhiyuan Robotics, a leader in China's embodied AI sector, has opened partner recruitment for its next-generation humanoid robot series, Lingxi X2. The company plans to achieve mass production by the second half of 2025, with an ambitious target of delivering thousands of units by the end of 2026.
The Lingxi X2 lineup includes three models: the Interactive Edition (X2), Exploration Edition (X2Pro), and Flagship Edition (X2Ultra). What sets these robots apart is their groundbreaking emotional interaction capability, enabled by advanced multimodal technology that integrates language, expressions, movements, and behaviors seamlessly.
Wei Qiang, president of Zhiyuan's Lingxi business department, explained that the robots boast 25 to 31 degrees of freedom, including two neck degrees of freedom. This sophisticated design allows the X2 series to perform remarkably human-like interactions across various scenarios - from public presentations and event hosting to providing emotional companionship.
Imagine a robot that can serve as an exhibition guide during the day, host entertainment events in the evening, and even perform stand-up comedy routines. The Lingxi X2's versatility makes it suitable for cultural venues, entertainment spaces, and service industries seeking innovative interactive solutions.
This partnership initiative signals Zhiyuan Robotics' push toward commercializing embodied intelligence technology. By opening collaboration opportunities, the company aims to accelerate real-world applications of its humanoid robots across multiple sectors.
