TaoTie iO AI Glasses: 2499 Yuan with 24/7 Memory, Now on Sale

At the 2026 RayNeo AI Glasses launch event, the company introduced its new iO series, with the first model—RayNeo iO—positioned as "human enhancement AI glasses." Priced at 2499 yuan (with a promotional price of 1996 yuan), these glasses are now available on JD.com, Tmall, Douyin, and offline eyewear stores. They support prescriptions from 0 to 1000 diopters, making them accessible to a wide range of users.

According to Counterpoint and IDC data, RayNeo led the AR glasses market in China and globally in Q1 2026. The iO glasses feature a dual-eye display architecture and Blue Lake waveguide technology, with a 93% light transmission rate in the optical area and over 98% in non-display areas. The eye illumination is 1800 nits, supporting an equivalent 33-inch display and DC dimming for comfortable viewing.

The frame is crafted from a magnesium-aluminum alloy front and titanium alloy temples, weighing just 34 grams. The "Fenghuo Light Engine Nano" is smaller than a red bean, making the glasses sleek and lightweight. Users can interact via the Smart Crown smart dial, nod to confirm, or shake to cancel, and the glasses can display weather, schedules, and to-do lists.

On the AI front, RayNeo iO initially integrates DeepSeek V4Pro and Qwen 3.7Max, with plans to support Kimi K3 and RayNeo's own AI model later. The battery lasts up to two days, and the all-day memory engine processes sound and location data to create a 24-hour context, automatically generating daily summaries. The real-time prompt function can identify questions in conversations and display reference answers on the lens. It also supports translation into 55 languages and 109 accents, plus an AI scripter.

Privacy is a key focus: the iO features a camera-free design. When recording or translation is activated, a privacy indicator light turns on and cannot be disabled via software. Conversation data is anonymized and de-identified on the device, and users can export, migrate, or completely delete their data.
