v6 arrives as a model suite with three distinct personalities. The flagship v6 targets Pro and Premier subscribers—reliable, accurate, and polished across genres. Then there's v6-wild, also for Pro and Premier, but built for exploration. It's unpredictable, textured, and designed to spark ideas you can refine later. Finally, v6-mini is fast, light, and open to everyone. Suno claims it beats any free model on any platform.

All three understand musician language—vocals, arrangement, structure, emotion, references, the whole feel of a song. They translate complex visions and multiple details better than before.

Natural Language Meets Music-Making

The real fun starts with the new "control" features. You can change one part of a track while keeping the rest intact. Want the chorus sung by a gospel choir? Just say so. You can mix and match songs in a single request—take vocals from one, drums from another, add fresh lyrics, and land in 80s synthwave territory. Sample, isolate, and build a beat around a phrase without leaving your workflow.

Start from atmosphere, genre, or inspiration combos. Let the model grasp "midnight under the roof" as a creative seed. Multi-modal input takes it further: text, audio, images, even videos can spark a song. A picture, a recording, a diary entry—all become starting points. And lyric changes are precise down to the word. Swap "love" for "light" without rebuilding the whole track.

As v6 rolls out, older models will be phased out. Suno is moving its entire platform into the v6 era.
