If you bought a qualifying iPhone in the US between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025, you can file a claim. The eligible models are:

  • iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max
  • iPhone 16, 16e, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max

Expect $25 per device, though the final payout could go up to $95 depending on how many people file. The claims window runs from September 21, 2026, to December 21, 2026.

One catch: you must have bought the phone for yourself, not for resale, and you need to live in the United States.

Why This Lawsuit Happened

Back in 2024, Apple didn't just demo the new Siri—it plastered those AI capabilities all over its website and ads, making them a key selling point for the iPhone 16. When the phones shipped and the features didn't, plaintiffs cried false advertising and unfair competition.
