The Shanghai Cyberspace Administration has unveiled its latest registration update concerning generative artificial intelligence services, announcing the addition of nine new services. This initiative is part of the city's broader effort to promote innovative development and the standardized application of generative AI technologies.
In alignment with the "Interim Measures for the Management of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services," Shanghai has initiated a systematic registration process for generative AI services. The newly registered services utilize the capabilities of filed models through various means, including APIs.
As of the latest announcement, Shanghai now boasts a total of 63 registered generative AI services. This increase not only supports the healthy development of the industry but also aims to create a safer and more reliable service environment for users.
Among the newly registered generative AI services are notable entries such as Wuyou Zhimen, AI Simultaneous Speaking Practice, and Nian Ta, among others.
The Shanghai Cyberspace Administration emphasized the importance of transparency in AI applications. According to the announcement, all launched generative AI applications or features must prominently display their registration numbers either in a visible location or on the product detail page.
