PixVerse Hits $2 Billion Valuation After $439 Million Funding Round

Singapore-based AI video startup PixVerse has just closed a massive $439 million Series C funding round, catapulting its valuation past the $2 billion mark. The company announced the news on July 13, 2026, with the round led by Alibaba, Lollapalooza Capital, and Lion X Ventures—the venture arm of OCBC Bank. This follows an earlier Series C tranche in March led by CDH Investments.

So where's all that money going? PixVerse plans to beef up its global model services, hire more research and marketing talent, and speed up the rollout of its enterprise offerings worldwide.

Founded in 2023 by Wang Changhu, a former computer vision whiz at ByteDance, and Xie Jiedeng, who previously served as an executive director at Lightspeed Venture Partners, PixVerse has quickly made a name for itself. Its secret sauce? A unique AI data annotation technology and a strong grasp of visual understanding. The company has built a diverse product lineup: the V-series video models for consumers, the C-series for professional workflows, and the R-series world models tailored for game development. These tools can generate videos up to 4K resolution with audio.
