OPPO Find X10 to Debut Manus AI Agents That Actually Get Things Done
OPPO and Manus Join Forces to Put a Task-Doing AI Agent in Your Pocket
OPPO has announced a partnership with AI agent platform Manus, embedding its agent capabilities into OPPO's AI Mind Pilot. The move marks a shift from phones that simply answer questions to phones that actually accomplish tasks.
"AI agents are no longer limited to responding—they understand intent, perform actions, and deliver results," said Tang Kai, President of OPPO's Software Engineering. Zhang Tao, co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Manus, added that smartphones carry a massive amount of daily tasks, making them the most natural home for personal AI agents.

From Q&A to Getting Things Done
The collaboration first appears in the new agent mode of AI Mind Pilot, debuting on the OPPO Find X10 series with ColorOS 17. Instead of just answering questions, the agent understands your ultimate goal, breaks it into steps, retrieves information, selects tools, and delivers a complete result—even directly accessing files and photos on your device.
Picture this: you say "organize my travel plan," and it gathers scattered flight tickets, hotel bookings, restaurant reservations, and event tickets from various apps, combines them with online info, and generates a daily itinerary. In office mode, one instruction can organize travel photos, locate a specific image, or combine local and online materials into a ready-to-use PPT, proposal, or portfolio.
Privacy: On-Device by Default, Cloud Only with Your Permission
Privacy is another selling point. ColorOS 17 uses on-device models to handle understanding and organization, so local tasks like file searching and renaming stay on your phone and aren't sent to Manus. If a task needs cloud processing, AI Mind Pilot will only upload data after getting your explicit permission.
OPPO and Manus emphasize that users decide which information can be accessed, which operations can be performed, and whether external processing is allowed. By combining on-device computing with transparent authorization, they aim to tie "smarter" with "controllable."
The Manus-powered AI Mind Pilot will debut on the Find X10 series first.
