OPPO Find X10 Series to Debut Manus-Powered AI Agents
OPPO and Manus Join Forces to Bring AI Agents to Find X10 Series
OPPO has announced a partnership with AI agent platform Manus to integrate agent capabilities into its AI Mind Pilot, transforming the smartphone from a question-answering tool into a task-completing assistant. The collaboration was unveiled yesterday, with OPPO's Software Engineering President Tang Kai highlighting the shift: AI agents now understand intent, perform actions, and deliver results. Manus co-founder and Chief Product Officer Zhang Tao noted that smartphones, with their massive daily task load, are the most natural platform for personal AI agents.
The practical implementation embeds Manus into the new agent mode of AI Mind Pilot, first available on the OPPO Find X10 series running ColorOS 17. Instead of simple Q&A, the system grasps the user's ultimate goal, automatically breaks tasks into steps, retrieves information, selects tools, and delivers complete results—even accessing device files and photos. For instance, saying "organize the travel plan" prompts the agent to gather scattered flight tickets, hotel bookings, restaurant reservations, and tickets from various apps, combine them with online information, and generate a daily schedule. In office settings, a single instruction can organize travel photos, locate a specific image, or combine local and online materials to produce a ready-to-use PPT, proposal, or portfolio.

Privacy Protection: On-Device Processing, Cloud Tasks Require Consent
Privacy is another selling point. ColorOS 17 uses on-device models to handle understanding and organization, keeping original content of local tasks like file searching and renaming within the device and not sending it to Manus. If a task requires cloud processing, AI Mind Pilot will only upload data after obtaining the user's explicit permission. OPPO and Manus emphasize that users decide which information can be accessed, which operations can be performed, and whether external processing is allowed—combining on-device computing with transparent authorization to tie "smarter" with "controllable." The Manus-supported AI Mind Pilot will debut on the Find X10 series first.
