OPPO Find X10's AI Agent Can Book Your Trip and Build Your Deck
OPPO and AI agent platform Manus are joining forces to give smartphones a serious upgrade: from answering questions to actually getting things done. The collaboration, announced this week, embeds Manus' agent capabilities into OPPO's AI Mind Pilot, debuting on the Find X10 series with ColorOS 17.
Tang Kai, President of OPPO's Software Engineering, framed the shift simply: AI agents no longer just respond—they understand intent, take action, and deliver results. Zhang Tao, co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Manus, added that phones already carry a massive load of daily tasks, making them the most natural home for a personal AI agent.

How it works in practice
Instead of stopping at a simple Q&A, the new agent mode digs into what you're really trying to achieve. It breaks your goal into steps, pulls information, picks the right tools, and hands back a finished result—even reaching into your device's files and photos. Planning a trip? Just say "organize the travel plan." The agent scoops up scattered flight tickets, hotel bookings, restaurant reservations, and event passes from various apps, mixes in online info, and builds a day-by-day schedule. For office work, one instruction can sort travel photos, locate a specific image, or combine local and online materials into a ready-to-use PPT, proposal, or portfolio.
Privacy: local first, cloud only with your say-so
Privacy is another headline here. ColorOS 17 uses on-device models to handle understanding and organization, so local tasks like file searching and renaming keep their original content on the phone—nothing gets sent to Manus. If a task needs cloud processing, AI Mind Pilot uploads only after you give explicit permission. OPPO and Manus stress that users decide which information is accessible, which operations are allowed, and whether external processing is permitted. By pairing on-device computing with transparent authorization, they tie "smarter" to "controllable."
The Manus-powered AI Mind Pilot will land first on the Find X10 series.
