What's Left Behind
The offline version keeps a few of the companion features alive. You can still listen to Lin Li's performances locally and use the dynamic wallpaper function. These features will keep working even after the servers go dark. Mihoyo says Lin Li will retain some companionship capabilities in the offline mode, so you can still enjoy a slice of the experience.

Despite the brief operation period, Mihoyo says they received plenty of user interaction during this time. Players were listening to vinyl records, writing letters, and uploading melodies. It's a shame it's ending so soon, but the company is making sure users can save their memories.

If you've been chatting with Lin Li, you'll want to back up your data before the shutdown. Letters, MIDI creation files, music libraries, and related data must be saved by 3 PM on August 31. After the service ends, the company will handle data according to laws and privacy policies. Online content won't be viewable or recoverable, and it won't sync to the offline version.
