Style Sketch connects to Instagram and automatically builds a virtual wardrobe from photos you've already posted. You can also add items manually by taking pictures, recording short videos, or uploading images from your gallery. The app then recommends outfits based on your wardrobe and personal style, and shows you how they'd look on a virtual model matched to your body type and skin tone.

Need inspiration for a specific piece? Just select it and get styling ideas. Planning a trip? Enter your destination, trip length, and planned activities, and the app will generate a daily outfit plan that factors in the weather forecast.

The app was first spotted by social media consultant Matt Navarra. With competitors like Alta and Google Photos' digital wardrobe feature already on the scene, Meta's edge may lie in its deep integration with Instagram—leveraging the platform's existing user photos and style data to improve the styling experience.

Style Sketch is just one of several AI apps Meta has recently launched, including the AI pet app Waddle World, the game creation tool Pocket, and the AI video app Vibes.
