Meituan Launches CatPaw AI Agent Platform, Open-Sources 1.6T Parameter Model

On July 27, Meituan officially launched CatPaw, an AI Agent platform powered by its LongCat 2.0 large model. This move signals the company's transition from open-sourcing its trillion-parameter model to deploying it in real-world industrial scenarios.

LongCat 2.0, now open-sourced, boasts 1.6 trillion total parameters and natively supports an ultra-long context of up to 1 million tokens. It's also the first trillion-parameter model to complete full-process training and inference on 50,000 domestic computing cards—a significant milestone for China's AI infrastructure.

CatPaw transforms these underlying capabilities into an enterprise-level intelligent workbench and agent development platform that's ready to use out of the box. The platform deeply integrates Meituan's full-chain knowledge of the local lifestyle sector, packaging expert and skill modules for tasks like store operations, review diagnosis, marketing conversion, and fulfillment delivery.

What sets CatPaw apart is its seamless collaboration across mobile and PC devices, 7×24-hour cloud-based operation, cross-session long-term memory, and autonomous planning and execution. This allows multiple AI agents to work together on complex tasks without human intervention.

For enterprise customers, CatPaw Managed Agents provides a secure, strictly isolated operating environment. It supports cold starts at the millisecond level and dynamic scaling, and comes pre-installed with several IM digital employee role templates. Currently, CatPaw has been adopted by 90,000 employees within Meituan, who have successfully built over 30,000 agents.
