Originally a personal productivity helper for Gmail, Calendar, and Drive, CC has evolved. In May, it appeared as a "Daily Briefing" in the Gemini app. Now, it's getting a major upgrade: support for up to six family members.

The new CC has its own Google account, allowing family members to collaborate. Each person can choose what to share—school events, sports practices, doctor's appointments—and CC automatically updates shared calendars and task lists. It can even spot important dates and to-do items you might have missed.

"Users told us they wanted the AI to help with children's school schedules, sports training, bills, and family life management," Google said. The company listened.

CC runs on an independent cloud computer, powered by Gemini and Google's AI system Antigravity. That means it can tackle real-world chores:

Limited Rollout, Big Potential

For now, this experiment is only available to individual Gmail users in the United States who are 18 or older. New users can join a waiting list. If it works well, expect Google to expand CC to more regions and possibly integrate it deeper into its ecosystem.
