Faraday Future has announced a significant series of in-car software updates for its flagship model, the FF 91 2.0, aimed at enhancing artificial intelligence (AI) and human-machine interaction capabilities. This update, which takes effect immediately via Over-The-Air (OTA) technology, is designed to create a more intuitive and convenient user experience, further positioning the vehicle as a mobile, connected, intelligent, and luxurious third AI space.

Key Features of the Update

The FF 91 2.0 update includes several noteworthy enhancements aimed at improving both the in-car entertainment experience and user control features. Notable highlights include:

  • User Feedback Feature: Users can now activate a feedback tool simply by saying, "provide feedback" to the FFAI voice assistant. This feature allows them to submit opinions and suggestions directly to the company, fostering better communication and improvements based on user input.
  • Optimized Navigation System: The navigation system has been significantly upgraded, offering improved route guidance features. Users will benefit from clearer and more user-friendly turn instructions, enhancing their navigation experience on the road.
  • Enhanced Entertainment Options: While the vehicle is parked, users can now watch streaming videos on the central display. Additionally, the live broadcast feature now includes content from major U.S. sports leagues, including the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL, along with other popular events. image

Redesigned User Interface

The update introduces a complete redesign of the Door Panel Display (DPD), which supports quick adjustments to the main screen settings. The DPD now includes a detailed menu for various seat customization options. Furthermore, users can activate the FFAI assistant using the rear-seat touch controller, which enhances accessibility and control.

The update also features:

  • Rear Seat Comfort Enhancements: The rear seat leg rest and zero-gravity seat optimization can now be adjusted in a synchronized manner, providing a seamless and comfortable experience.
  • Visual Improvements: The central display interface has been updated with a new color background and activation state palette, improving visual clarity, contrast, and readability. Users can also customize icon positions in the launcher and app tray using a drag-and-drop feature.
  • Updated Connectivity Features: The rear TV interface now displays information regarding Bluetooth headphone pairing and connection status, while overall connectivity features have been optimized to provide an intuitive connection status, including signal strength and carrier information for each SIM card. ## Company Vision
