Chinese AI Model MiniCPM Powers Samsung's New Galaxy Z Fold8

Samsung took the wraps off its latest foldable phones—the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8—at the Galaxy Unpacked event in London last night. But the real surprise came today: MiniCPM, a series of edge-side large models from Chinese AI company Mingshi (also known as Minding Intelligence), is now deeply embedded in Samsung's Galaxy AI. This is the first time a domestic edge-side large model has made its way into the global flagship product line of a top international smartphone maker.
