Changsha Unveils AI-Powered Education Model for Smarter Learning

Changsha Digital Group, in collaboration with the National Supercomputing Center Changsha, has introduced the "Super Intelligence Fusion" education model, a groundbreaking initiative leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to transform the educational landscape. This domestically developed DeepSeek large model is designed to enhance teaching efficiency, reduce administrative burdens, and support student mental health.

The model was simultaneously launched at Changjun Middle School and Junrui Education Group, marking a significant step in integrating AI into education. By combining computing power, algorithm optimization, and data-driven insights, the initiative aims to provide comprehensive support across teaching, learning, assessment, management, and research.

Peng Shaoliang, deputy director of the National Supercomputing Center Changsha, emphasized that the project bridges the gap between supercomputing and intelligent computing. "This model integrates educational big data with multimodal AI while maintaining a dynamic balance between teaching needs and privacy security," he said.

The Lumen platform, a key component of the model, offers features such as AI lesson plans, assignment management, and mental health monitoring. According to Xu Xi, chairman of Hunan Yigu Technology, the platform supports K12 students with intelligent lesson preparation and grading. It employs the Socratic method for layered teaching designs and includes advanced tools like semantic analysis for humanities essays and step-by-step tracking for science assignments.

At Changjun Middle School, Principal Deng Zhigang highlighted the model's potential to improve teacher efficiency and reduce grading workloads. "We are also focusing on its ability to diagnose student learning situations accurately," he added. The model's mental health monitoring feature analyzes behavioral data to identify potential psychological issues early.

Ye Shuangqiu, a representative from the Changsha Municipal Education Bureau, noted that this innovation will eliminate supervision blind spots and promote a healthier educational environment. Plans are underway to expand the model to more schools, fostering widespread adoption of intelligent education solutions.
