ByteDance announced a major reorganization of its artificial intelligence business on July 30, splitting the team behind its enterprise collaboration app Feishu into two parts. One part will merge with the Doubao product team, while the other will join the Volcano Engine team. The goal? ByteDance also shared some impressive financial figures. Based on average consumption in July, its large model business is now generating an annualized revenue run rate of $4 billion. That's more than all other domestic large model companies combined, showing just how fast the company is moving in the AI space.
