The round was led by venture capital firm Footwork, with participation from Uncork, Bessemer, and M13, signaling strong investor confidence in next-gen AI development tools.

The funding reflects explosive growth in the ambient coding market. Swedish company Lovable achieved $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within just 8 months, while Replit saw its ARR skyrocket from $2.8 million to $150 million in under a year. However, as noted by Footwork partner Nikhil Basu Trivedi, most platforms struggle to move beyond prototypes to deliver production-ready software.

Anything's Full-Stack Solution

Founded by ex-Google engineers Dhruv Amin and Marcus Lowe, Anything positions itself as the "Shopify of ambient coding." Unlike competitors relying on third-party databases like Supabase, Anything built its entire infrastructure in-house—a decision that took time but now provides seamless end-to-end functionality including databases, storage, and payment systems.

"Our goal is empowering non-technical users to transform prototypes into profitable products," Amin told reporters. The strategy shows promise: within two weeks of launch, Anything reached $2 million in annualized revenue. Users have already deployed functional apps on the App Store, including habit trackers and virtual hair styling tools—some already generating income.

Market Differentiation and Future Outlook

While competitors like Mocha and Rork develop similar infrastructures, Anything's rapid traction suggests its model resonates commercially. Basu Trivedi notes: "There's massive demand for diverse app development solutions."

The funding will accelerate product development as Anything aims to lead ambient coding into a more mature phase—one where ideas reliably become viable businesses.
