Varun Mohan, Windsurf's CEO, took to social media platform X to reveal the abrupt change. Anthropic dramatically reduced direct access to Claude3.7Sonnet and Claude3.5Sonnet models with minimal warning. "We've consistently expressed willingness to pay for full access," Mohan stated. "This decision and its timing are deeply disappointing."
