He pointed out that data is the cornerstone driving the progress of AI, and the quantity and quality of data directly affect the capabilities and performance of large models. He emphasized that a lack of sufficient data can lead to "hallucinations" in AI technology, a phenomenon that is becoming increasingly apparent in the current technological environment.

Zhengyu He noted that as cheap internet data gradually becomes scarce, the cost of obtaining data will significantly increase. He stated that besides a vast amount of open data, professional data from many industries are not only scarce but also face numerous obstacles in circulation. Moreover, the complexity of multi-modal data processing and the evaluation of data quality have become critical challenges for the development of AI. Therefore, the success or failure of future enterprises will depend on how well they can generate and apply data. {{MEDIA_PLACEHOLDER_0}}Source: Image generated by AI, authorized by MidJourney He further revealed that Ant Group will strive to make breakthroughs in key areas such as finance, healthcare, and daily life using the OceanBase platform, and plans to continue promoting the open-source and open strategy of OceanBase, advancing towards the dream of general artificial intelligence (AGI).

When discussing his background, Zhengyu He shared his rich experience in the technology field. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012 and worked at Google for six years, where he created and led the open-source project gVisor. In 2018, he joined Ant Group, responsible for building the company's technical infrastructure, including projects related to cloud-native, green computing, and confidential computing.

Zhengyu He's speech not only provided deep insights to the industry but also pointed the way forward for the future development of AI. His views remind us that while pursuing technological innovation, we must attach great importance to the acquisition and application of data to truly advance AI technology.
