AliQoder's New Voice Agent Lets You Code by Talking

AliQoder, the AI coding assistant from Alibaba, has just unveiled Qoder Voice—a real-time voice intelligent agent that lets developers talk their way through coding tasks. No more typing out every command; just speak naturally, and the system listens, understands, and acts.

Powered by the full-duplex voice model Qwen-Audio-3.0-Realtime, Qoder Voice is designed for seamless interaction. You click the voice button in Qoder's Quest mode, and a floating window appears, ready to take your commands. Once you speak, the system automatically creates a task, calls the right tools, and executes them in the background. The best part? You don't have to wait. You can interrupt, ask follow-up questions, or change your mind mid-execution. It's like having a coding partner who never misses a beat.

For complex tasks, Qoder Voice supports multi-turn discussions. The agent first generates an execution plan, and you can refine it with voice. Need to add caching to a code refactoring plan? Just say so, and the system adjusts on the fly. It's a far cry from the old way of typing out detailed prompts and waiting for results.

Currently, Qoder Voice is available on the international version of Qoder, with options for individual subscriptions, personal trials, and enterprise plans. There's even a 3-day free trial to test the waters. Alibaba has also confirmed that a Chinese version, Qoder CN, is on the way.

This launch marks another step in the evolution of AI programming tools.
