Alibaba Merges Three AI Assistants into 'Qwen Office' to Take on the Office Market

Alibaba is making a bold move in the AI office space. According to a report by Caijing, the tech giant is set to launch a new product called "Qwen Office" — and it's bringing together three of its existing intelligent agents under one roof.

The three products being integrated are QoderWork, Wukong, and MuleRun. Each has had a different trajectory: QoderWork is currently Alibaba's most popular and well-received AI agent, while Wukong has been in a longer development phase, and MuleRun was primarily focused on overseas markets. Now, they're all being folded into a single platform, with QoderWork taking the lead as the core foundation.

This integration comes under the leadership of Chen Yusen, who recently took over as the new CEO of DingTalk, Alibaba's enterprise communication and collaboration platform. In June, Chen Hang, DingTalk's founder and former CEO, stepped down, and Chen Yusen assumed control. By early July, Alibaba had assigned the three agent products to him for unified management and integration, signaling a clear push to accelerate the company's office AI strategy.
