The initiative targets institutions such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University, MIT, and Stanford, among others.

The recruitment drive focuses on several cutting-edge technical areas, including large language models, multimodal understanding and generation, model applications, and AI infrastructure. To entice exceptional candidates, Alibaba Cloud has introduced two specialized programs: the "A Star Project" and the "AI Clouder Project". These initiatives are designed for graduates who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in academic research or open-source projects.
